Dave Hahn (DH): Yeah Basecamp good to hear from you I’m just 120 feet here from camp 3 so I’m doing my last upward steps without bottled oxygen; I’m looking forward to turning it on.

Linden Mallory, Base Camp Manager (LM): Copy that Dave, thanks for the update nice work this morning, you’re making great time, over.

(DH): Yeah I started at at 3:30 from camp 2, what time is now?

(LM): It’s about 8:05 this morning over.

(DH): I can see Seth, Kent, and Melissa. I’m just starting to tackle the Yellow Band it’s kinda neat to watch from down here.

(LM): Excellent right on, and how is your strength doing, you feeling good?

(DH): I feel pretty good. It’s hard on my moral to be passed by so many Sherpa. K … was working with me this morning, and I kept feeling like he was going to run me over, and then I realized he was on oxygen.

(LM)That will get ya every time.  Well nice work, I’ll have an updated weather forecast for you in a couple hours and we can chat about what conditions will look like soon.
