First Ascent’s guide-built philosophy means that each of our products must be tested in the most extreme outdoor conditions. For the upcoming First Ascent ski collection, we knew that meant we needed to get our ski guides, Reggie and Zach Crist, out on the road to chase down this season’s biggest storms. It just made sense for two of America’s iconic adventure brands to come together to create the First Ascent Airstream. Here’s a behind-the-scenes look at how the Crists worked with the Airstream designers to custom build a trailer ideal for chasing powder, ski camping and staying cozy in between.

Wow, what a cool job… Can I be your driver! What is your favorite K2 model when the snow is deep or heavy?
Hey Cuz, Cool digs. Nice job. How about a family reunion in Haines next spring for corn and Kings. Spencer’s chompin at the bit to cut it up with you guys.
Very Cool! I’m loving the Road Trip concept and what a great way to combine several iconic American brands into one fun initiative.
Nice work!
That is one SWEET trailer! We have an Airstream as well that serves as our mobile ski lodge but boy oh boy — what I wouldn’t do to have that “garage” — so nice!!!
