Ben Stookesberry: “…Calling in from the base of the Alexandra Glacier… We’re up here on the glaciers feeding the Nile. We’re literally about 15 minutes off the equator and we’re going to head down right now. Chris stayed down below. He got a little bit of a headache last night. Hopefully he’ll join us at the hut, which is about 15,000 feet. Jesse and Darin are doing great. They’re chilling out down at the hut. Hopefully Hendri will come up as well. He’s been hanging out with Chris… Coming up here in a couple days we’ll get that rain that we need to run down the Mobuku… a 4,000-foot descent… but we need more water. If it snows tonight it might not be the worst thing in the world.”
