Last winter the Eddie Bauer ski team, in partnership with Stellar Media, headed north on a road trip of epic proportions to The Powder Highway of British Columbia. We’ve been retelling the story of the road trip all month on the Live Your Adventure blog, with powder stopovers at K2’s Rotor Lodge, Eagle Pass Heli, Revelstoke Mountain Resort and Kicking Horse. But the last leg of the trip, with a ten day mission to Golden Alpine Holidays, provided the most blower pow of the entire epic. Zach Crist penned a story for National Geographic on the remote lodge in the Esplanade Range, but we asked Zach to pick favorites with his top images from the trip. Below are the Will Wissman shots that made his cut. —LYA Editor

Top: The Powder Highway is a life list road trip. Last winter we rallied up to BC in our custom Outside Van for an epic adventure in search of deep pow. Above: The Vista Hut in the shadow of the Esplanade Range…cold smoke on the doorstep
L to R: 1. My two favorite chicks who rip, Lynsey Dyer and Lexi du Pont summiting the north ridge above the hut on a sunrise session. 2. A sunset view of the Canadian Rockies, the mountain landscape at its finest. 3. One of the reasons I love to ride my snowboard…laying into a heelside smash.
Above: Always fun to ski with Lynsey Dyer. She makes it look easy, sometimes cheesy and always fun!
L to R: 1. You know it is deep when Lynsey Dyer has a frozen mustache. 2. And Lexi has a white beard. 3. The Waterfall Pillows below the Vista Hut are what dreams are made of. Lexi plays through.
