The Heroes Project Featured on 60 Minutes
Posted on January 13, 2015

Our friends at the Heroes Project were featured on 60 Minutes Sunday with an incredibly powerful report by Lara Logan on the operation spearheaded by Tim Wayne Medvetz. We’ve backed their effort through Heroes Project missions to Carstensz Pyramid, Kilimanjaro, Aconcagua and Vinson as well as their first attempt on Everest last year. The story—of wounded warriors summiting the world’s tallest peaks with prosthetic legs—is a constant source of awe and inspiration for us at Eddie Bauer. Cheers, once again, to the Heroes Project for all that they have accomplished so far both with their climbs and with their empowering vision. Check out the links below for Tim’s reports of their earlier Seven Summits climbs and learn more about their Kickstarter to fund their mission to Everest in 2015. —LYA Editor
