Seeing as skiing Mt. Rushmore isn’t possible, First Ascent ski guide Reggie Crist has honored President’s Day in the next best way: Shredding some fresh powder with his dad, Roger, in Sun Valley, ID.

Last year, First Ascent ski guides Reggie and Zach Crist, along with Lel Tone, Tom Wayes, Lynsey Dyer, Kent McBride, Erik Leidecker, and Lexi duPont covered lots of ground and shredded tons of powder from Tahoe to Alaska.

Photographer Will Wissman landed six photos in the coveted Powder Photo Annual 2011, which is on newsstands now. Four of the shots feature First Ascent ski guide Reggie Crist, and one features First Ascent adventurer Lynsey Dyer.

First Ascent ski guides Reggie and Zach Crist have been enjoying the excellent, early season snow conditions on their home turf in Sun Valley, Idaho. The First Ascent team, including Reggie Crist, Zach Crist and Lynsey Dyer, is heading back to Beaver Creek, CO, Dec. 3-5, to support Birds of Prey—the only men’s World Cup ski race event in the United States.
